Freund’s Bantam Sauce
4 Red Snapper Fillets
Red Snapper is mildly sweet with a lean, firm moist texture. If you like salmon you will love the Red Snapper.
Bantam: A teriyaki alternative. A variant to the everyday classics. Asian style soy at its best. This well rounded-evenly flavored marinade will get you craving and returning for more. It goes really well with most fillets, including Tilapia, Sole, Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Flounder, Bronzino and Nile Perch.
Wash and pat dry the fish and marinate for one hour in Freund’s Bantam Sauce. (Marinate overnight when possible.) Fish should be at room temperature before being placed in the oven. Preheat your oven to 350° approximately 20 minutes before you begin to cook. Place the fish into an oven-proof dish and bake, uncovered, for approximately 20-25 minutes. Plate and serve.
Red snapper is a low-calorie, lean source of protein that is rich in selenium, vitamin A, potassium and omega-3 fatty acids.
