This is an excellent summer recipe – another idea for the grill. Herbed fish, light and flaky gets nested in a sandwich with Freund’s zesty dressing with a crunch of greenery.
2 Turbot fillets
1 Tbs. oil
1 1/2 tsp. Freund’s House Seasoning
2 tsp. Freund’s French Herbs De Provence
2 Baguettes (split and lightly toasted on grill or oven)
1 ripe tomato sliced
Handful of romaine lettuce
Freund’s Green Garden salad dressing
Drizzle turbot with oil, and then sprinkle with house seasoning and herb dressing. Place fish into a grill bag and seal.
For the grill: Grill on medium heat for 20 minutes with grill lid open.
In the oven: Preheat the oven to 400° and bake for 20 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
To assemble: Slather the inside of each baguette with garden salad dressing. Place one fillet onto each baguette bottom. Layer a slice of tomato and lettuce on top of the fish and place baguette tops on top.
