Freund’s lemon black pepper seasoning creates the tangy flavor of this coated and fried flounder. Served over rice with a mouthwatering sauce; this dinner is a family favorite.
2 flounder fillets
1/4 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp. Freund’s lemon black pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbs. oil
2 Tbs. margarine
1 tsp. lemon juice
4 frozen chopped parsley cubes
1 1/2 cups cooked rice
Combine the flour, lemon black pepper, garlic and salt. Wet the flounder fillets, and dip into the mixture to coat completely. Heat a skillet with oil, and cook flounder on both sides over a medium-high flame for 3 minutes on each side or until slightly crisped. Remove flounder from pan, and cover to keep warm. Turn heat to high, and add the margarine, lemon juice and parsley cubes. Cook for 1-2 minutes or until butter is melted and bubbly. Serve flounder over rice, and drizzle the lemon parsley sauce over it.
