Mexican Chili Grilled Trout

Quick simple and absolutely delicious, this tender fish gets tastily seasoned and placed into grill bags to retain its moisture. You always have the option of doing these on the grill or in the oven.

2 Rainbow Trout fillets
2 1/2 Tbs. olive oil
3 crushed garlic cubes
3 tsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. Freund’s Mexican chili seasoning

Mix the olive oil, garlic cubes, brown sugar, and Mexican chili seasoning in a small bowl to combine. Spread the mixture evenly onto the trout. Place fish into a grill bag.
For the Grill: Grill on low-medium heat with an open lid for approximately 10 minutes or until fish is cooked through and flaked easily with a fork. In the Oven: Bake for 15 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
