Southwestern Tilapia

Yes! It’s simple and succulent… Tilapia’s mild, neutral taste takes on a creamy Southwestern flavor in this no-fail recipe.

2 tsp. Garlic powder
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. black pepper
4 6oz tilapia fillets
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 jar Freund’s Alverado Marinade

Preheat oven to 400°.
In a small bowl mix garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Sprinkle evenly over both sides of tilapia.
Coat baking pan with olive oil.
Arrange tilapia in a single layer on baking pan.
Pour Alverado Marinade over tilapia.
Bake 30 minutes uncovered.
This dish goes well with orzo and patty pans/or zucchini strips.
